The Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton (CCAH) is actively involved in the following important activities:

  • Providing education for the purpose of advancing Halton community's knowlege, understanding and appreciation of Black culture and history.
  • Promoting participation in community outreach, activities and cultural events.
  • Developing inclusive youth strategies that develop a sense of community and civic participation among Halton's Caribbean and Black youh.
  • Organizing a program for Caribbean and Black seniors along with the "New Horizons for Seniors" project which includes folk art and steel pan music.
  • Creating important networking opportunities for Halton's Caribbean and Black community.
  • Offering volunteer opportunities for adults, youth and students along with certificates towards mandatory highschool volunteer hours.
  • Managing a post-secondary school scholarship program across Halton.
